The third heat of Melodifestivalen took place tonight, and this time we went to the Norther part of Sweden, to Lule\u00e5. Over the course of the one and a half hour show, we found two more finalists, and two more second change contestants. The fourth and final heat of Melodifestivalen will take place next week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

    The seven contestants that took to the stage were<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

    1. Mariette – “Shout It Out”<\/li>
    2. Albin Johns\u00e9n – “Livet b\u00f6rjar nu”<\/li>
    3. Dr\u00e4ngarna – “Piga och dr\u00e4ng”<\/li>
    4. Amanda Aasa – “Late”<\/li>
    5. Anis don Demina – “Vem \u00e4r som oss”<\/li>
    6. Faith Kakembo – “Crying Rivers”<\/li>
    7. Mohombi – “Winners”<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n

      This heat was split between both Melodifestivalen veterans (Mariette<\/strong>, Albin Johns\u00e9n<\/strong>, Anis don Demina<\/strong> and Mohombi<\/strong>) and newcomers. Among the Melo newcomers, Dr\u00e4ngarna<\/strong>, a group formed 25 years ago, has the dubious honor of being part of the first copyright infringement case ever tried in the Swedish Supreme Court. A case they lost.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

      After the first round of voting, two acts were cut and a second voting round began. The acts cut were:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

      • Albin Johns\u00e9n – “Livet b\u00f6rjar nu”<\/li>
      • Amanda Aasa – “Late”<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n

        Of the remaining five acts, two were voted directly to the final:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

        • Mohombi<\/strong> – “Winners”<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n
